El Molcajete Mexican Restaurant - Chillicothe

Got here 15 minutes before closing and asked if I had time to eat, and the young woman politely said if I know what I want, or can order quickly because they'll be closing soon. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted (a chicken burrito dinner) but she asked me what kind of chicken burrito. I basically heard a bigger burrito with lots of stuff in it, and it seems it was a burrito Mexicana. It was definitely a big burrito, and covered in chihuahua cheese. With a side of guacamole, beans and rice, it was perfect. The service provided was very polite, and not rushed. Feeling very satisfied! Just one thing, I almost drive to Peoria because there was no menu on here.. The restaurant could benefit from uploading pics of the menu here on Google maps.

I've eaten at their old location but today was my first time at the new. I adore the atmosphere here. There is plenty of seating without feeling too crowded. The food is just as delicious as before. I highly recommend coming here whether for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner with friends and family.

This was my first time eating here and I can definitely say we will be going back we were treated like family and the food was out of this world the best Mexican food I've ever had

This place has amazing food. Mostly authentic. Really good salsa. Super nice people work here.They have alcohol. What else do you need?

I came here while visiting under r3commndqrjon of a local. I came during lunch. Plenty of tables open, the place was not busy at all. There is a small bar inside with a few chairs. The waiter was very helpful and nice. He recommended the 3 taco dinner. Unlike other places this dinner includes a small bag of chips and a small salsa container . This is an addition to the green and red salsas. I wasn't a big fan of any of the three meats I ordered. All just seemed a little bland and not very appealing. On thr flip, the rice and beans were one of the best I had! They have a large drinks menu.

Incredible stuff! The place is so clean and the hostess was a darling. Unassuming from the outside, the inside is qonderfully decorated and layed out. Not to mwntion the food is top tier and fresh! Had the nachoes, #3 and #8. Everything was delicious and cant wait to being friends

Food here is good, had the nacho supremos while my girlfriend had the taco salad and they were both really good.

Great food! Fast service! Resonable prices! I wanted something different for lunch, a quick Google search led me to El Molcajete! The interior is a surprise because from the outside it looks rather small. However, inside is roomy, with a hint of hacienda. On the menu I found a nice variety of lunch options to choose from. The entire menu was available to order from, which was great because there are many tempting items on the regular menu that are not available at other Mexican restaurants. My lunch arrived quickly and was DELICIOUS! I'll be honest, I played it safe and ordered chicken enchiladas but glancing at my fellow diners, I wish I had tried the Fajitas or one of the Molcajete dishes. Definitely a little gem found in Chillicothe. , you won't be disappointed.
